“The Savage” Chris Brettons vs. Robert Brothers

After a nine year layoff, “The Savage” Chris Brettons (1-1-0) returns to face Robert Brothers (3-5-0) in his Triton Fights debut. “The Savage” can be found honing his craft at the UFC Gym in New Hyde Park, NY. Fighting out of Florida on the Southeast Amateur circuit, Brothers went 2-2 in 2017. I expect the crowd at the Space to be on their feet when the bell rings and these two Heavyweights collide. Sponsored by Condemned Labs, Chris Brettons is a true physical specimen that will certainly bring lots of excitement and intrigue to Triton Fights 9 this Friday.

The winner of Brettons-Brothers will fight for the Heavyweight title in November.

Triton Fights Featherweight Championship

#1 Mike Fitzroy vs. Vilson Ndregjoni

Number one Contender Mike Fitzroy (3-0-0) looks to keep his perfect record intact when he faces Albanian wrestler Vilson Ndregjoni (1-1-0) for the Triton Fights Featherweight Title. Ndregjoni, a member of the AMA Fight Club, recorded his first amateur MMA win in July by submitting Toheed Ashorobi via Guillotine choke at Triton Fights 8. Training out of Long Island MMA, Mike Fitzroy improved to 3-0 in his promotional debut at Triton Fights 5, earning a unanimous decision win against Sarvarbek Tukhtasinov.

Triton Fights Bantamweight Championship

{C} Ashiek Ajim vs. #1 Christian Acerbo

Bantamweight champ Ashiek Ajim (6-1-0) will put his belt and five fight win streak on the line as he looks to defend his title against Commack MMA’s Christian Acerbo (2-2-0) Training our of Long Island MMA, Ashiek Ajim aims for his fourth win and fourth KO/TKO finish with Triton Fights. Christian Acerbo will be looking for his first Triton Fights win with after losing a decision to Dennis Buzukia in his promotional debut at Triton Fights 5 in December 2017.

MAIN EVENT— ISKA Lightweight Championship

{C} Paul Thimote vs. #1 Dylan Mantello

In the Triton Fights 9 Main Event, ISKA Lightweight Champion Paul “The Neighborhood Butcher” Thimote (4-1-0) puts his strap on the line against number one contender Dylan “The Quiet Man” Mantello (3-0-0). Training at Longo and Weidman (LAW) MMA, Mantello will seek his third win in his third bout with Triton Fights in 2018. The Quiet Man submitted Gensy Parra Vargas via Triangle in the Second Round at Triton Fights 6, and most recently KO/TKO’d Chris Guariglia in the Second Round of their bout at Triton Fights 7 in May.

The Neighborhood Butcher is back and out for blood. After losing in his MMA debut, Thimote has rattled off four consecutive wins, and doesn’t plan on stopping this train anytime soon. In his promotional debut at Triton Fights 8, the Butcher beat a then undefeated Andrew Stock (5-1-0) to earn the ISKA Lightweight title. Thimote trains with Ultimate MMA in College Point, NY and is sponsored by our good friends at Byond Average.
